The Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament

is a devotional society of Episcopalians, both laity and clergy, and other Anglicans who wish to offer special recognition of the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ in the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. We encourage one another to be present at the celebration of the Holy Mysteries at least every Lord’s Day and Principal Feast, and, if at all possible, other Prayer Book holy days, and to receive the Blessed Sacrament frequently. We discern our Lord’s Body and Blood as perduringly present in the consecrated elements and are therefore eager to acknowledge that presence with acts of bodily veneration and spiritual adoration.

“Blessed, praised, worshiped, and adored be Jesus Christ: On his throne in heaven, in the most holy sacrament of the altar, and in the hearts of his faithful people.”
